Will I need extra clothing to keep warm?

Airfields are exposed so enough to keep warm on the ground. In the air, generally no. Gliders have an enclosed cockpit with no drafts. On really hot no cloud days a basic sun hat or a cap can be beneficial.

Do I need to arrive early?

No, you don't have to arrive ahead of the appointment time but you are welcome to. We reserve 1 hour per flight so there is time for preparation and leeway if you are running a bit late.
